Excellent point Diane. I was the Research Director and founder of Meta Group's (now owned by Gartner) Industry Strategies and the quickest way to lose a reader was to assume they new all of the nomenclature and acronym soup in the IT sector. Matter of fact, many appreciated my research notes because I simplified things so they could learn what that acronym meant. I also see that you have some sage advice regarding customer satisfaction becoming "survivor bias." I created a model that completes the loop by gathering prospect perception enabling my clients to create market-driven cultures. Feel free to go to my Blog (accessible from the above website) and view or borrow some of my thoughts. Cheers!
